What It Is:
Sound Society is a by-product of Pabst Blue Ribbon with focus on collaborating with creatives from all mediums in major cities across the country. The theme for this year's campaign is called the Fearless Experience:"We believe that without fear there is no creativity. **When artists push past fear to express something raw and real, they create breakthrough work—a new sound, a new style, a new statement—that empowers and excites their audience."
The Ask:
Sound Society approached us to create all branding, graphics and video pieces surrounding the Medicine Man Revival & Friends show at the Sons of Herman Hall. Event Collateral consisted of flyers and video promo raising awareness about the show, along with video material recapping the event.
Approach:
For the event promo, our aim was to capture a laid-back, third-person perspective allowing Medicine Man Revival to show us around their favorites part of Deep Ellum as well as the studio they record at. Also giving them a platform to share their view on what the creative community in Dallas means to them along with what potential it holds for the future.
Execution:
Recapping the official Medicine Man Revival & Friends Show at Sons of Herman Hall we expressed the feeling of what it's like to live and be apart of the art community here in Deep Ellum. Displaying the "open invitation" atmosphere created by Sound Society and fellow creatives in the area, including Leon Bridges who made a surprise appearance towards the end of the event.
